COVID-19 Guidelines for September 18th Event

DISCLAIMER: These guidelines are NOT the official guidelines for the IRS. Any guidelines listed here apply only to the event hosted by NTEU Chapter 66 at Penn Valley Park on September 18th.

On September 18th at 1pm, NTEU Chapter 66 will be hosting a Membership Appreciation picnic. Though the event is outdoors, it is vitally important that the CDC Guidelines for the COVID-19 outbreak be followed by all staff, volunteers, and attendees.

NTEU Staff and Volunteers will adhere to the following guidelines:

Hand sanitizer will be readily available.

Tables and chairs will be cleaned after set-up, and again before guest arrival.

The only toilets currently available are port-a-potties due to the restrooms being closed for COVID-19 precautions.

In the event of an outbreak, NTEU will communicate with employees via email and Facebook as soon as possible.

Attendees are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

Masks will be REQUIRED unless attendees are actively eating and drinking. Attendees will be asked to leave if they are non-compliant.

Infected individuals are discouraged from attending.

Social distancing and hand-hygiene rules will be in affect.
