We are Chapter 66 of the National Treasury Employee Union (NTEU), located in Kansas City.
We strive to organize federal employees so we can work together to ensure that every federal employee is treated with dignity and respect. We fight for fair pay and benefits, improved working conditions, and all issues that matter are important for federal employees.
NTEU is composed of more than 150,000 federal employees in 33 departments and agencies. Our chapter is home to more than 2,700 of them. The NTEU is largest independent federal employee union and has been working with the IRS for more than 50 years.
Our national organization includes tens of thousands of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employees. But that’s not all! We proudly represent law enforcement officers, scientists, attorneys, cyber-security experts, and more. Our members are revenue officers, food inspectors, bank examiners, park rangers, and the list goes on.
